Keven Cotton

Keven Cotton joined PFLAG National as Director of Finance and Operations in June 2022. Prior to joining PFLAG National, Keven provided budget oversight for DC Public Schools, including creating budget forecasts, monitoring budget close-out, and leading teams through budget development.

For more than 15 years, Keven had the privilege of serving at several DC public charter schools where he collaborated with school leaders to implement initiatives and strategies to attract and retain staff, cultivated relationships with teachers, students, parents, community partners, and vendors, and ensured that stakeholders were supported by all members of the operations team.

Keven graduated from Howard University with a BBA in Computer Information Systems and received a Master’s in Education Leadership from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. A devoted husband and father, Keven enjoys traveling, live music, and comedy shows.
