PFLAG National Speaks Out Against So-Called “Conscience and Religious Freedom” Division of HHS

WASHINGTON, D.C.—PFLAG National—the nation’s first and largest organization uniting families and allies with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ)—responded today to the announcement of the creation of a new division within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS): The so-called “Conscience and Religious Freedom” division (CRF) which would allow medical professionals to opt out of providing services that violate their moral or religious beliefs.
