Fair Housing For All: Rights of the LGBTQ+ Community Recording & Training Toolkit

There are an estimated four million incidents of housing discrimination in rental and sales each year. The majority of those incidents are not reported and an even smaller number result in justice. Often, incidents go unreported because people don’t know that housing discrimination is unlawful, do not believe they have sufficient evidence to support their claim, or do not know where or how to report their experiences.

The purpose of this webinar is to equip you with information in the event you (or a constituent) experiences housing discrimination, and also explain how the LGBTQ+ community is protected under the federal Fair Housing Act and other laws.

Thanks for participating in PFLAG National’s Fair Housing For All: Rights of the LGBTQ+ Community with Shivaughn Ferguson, Sherrill Frost-Brown, and Joe Wardenski. One of our key goals is to help you take the information that you learned in this session and use it to make your chapter stronger and more effective. To do that, we’ve created this page to provide you with tools, resources, and references to materials mentioned in the workshop.

As always, the PFLAG National staff is here to help. If you have any questions, comments, or just need some good advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
